MASTERS OF JAVA 2025

Funprogging contest for all Java Developers. The Masters of Java is a legendary “funprogging contest” (based on Java SE), open to all Java developers. In this competition, it’s not about your API knowledge, but about real programming skills.

There are 5 very diverse programming challenges for the teams. These must be solved within a set time limit. For every second you have left after submitting, you earn a point. You can also earn bonus points by passing specific tests. The team with the highest score wins.

A team consists of up to 2 developers, and the team with the most points at the end of the day earns the title “Master of Java 2025”
Besides eternal glory, there are, of course, great prizes to be won. In recent years, the final task has often been the deciding factor, so this year’s edition promises to be a thrilling competition!

Newcomer Awards Masters of Java 2025
We’re providing new winning opportunities in this years Masters of Java fun programming competition! On top of the prizes for the three teams that earn the most points, this year we wil award two extra prizes.

Our new Debutant Prize will be awarded to the best team with members that have not participated in the past 4 editions. Our

Encouragement Award is not about topping the leaderboard — it’s about recognizing a team that stood out in other ways. What team do we want to encourage for its perseverance, resourcefulness or other traits needed in the face of our challenges?
