DESCRIPTION:Zoek je een coole technische meetup over cloud technologien? Kom dan op 2 september naar onze ‘Clash of the titans’ meetup met deze keer een Serverless Battle en tech-sessies van AWS\, Azure en Google. Na de grote interesse op Teqnation nemen we jullie graag mee deze avond\, om dieper in te gaan op deze breakoutsessie. Zorg dat je erbij bent! \n\n\n\nMeetup in het kort\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe weten allemaal dat elke nieuwe technologie een steeds kortere levenscyclus heeft\, hierdoor is het lastig om up to date te blijven. Geeft de nieuwe functionaliteit echt toegevoegde waarde? Is het nuttig om deze technologie eigen te maken? Vind je antwoord op deze vragen en discussier met peers voor\, tijdens en na de sessies. \nNaast netwerken\, goed eten en drinken\, hebben we een aantal interessante sessies: \n\nWe starten met een live serverless battle sessie tussen AWS/AZURE/GOOGLE. Tijdens deze interactieve sessie gaan we dieper in op de drie serverless platformen. We nemen een kijkje onder de motorkap van deze drie providers. De motorkap gaat open! Wie heeft er het beste platform? Wie komt als ‘winnaar’ uit de bus?\nTech-sessie door gastsprekers van Microsoft en Amazon\nAls laatste\, sluiten we af met een use case “Serverless Journey”. You keep going down the rabbit hole and don’t know how to make that ride comfortable. This no-slide and code-only session will explain how a Java application can be deployed in a Kubernetes cluster. Specifically\, it will explain the following:\n• Package the application as Docker image\n• Create Kubernetes manifests\n• Create Helm charts\n• Test in a local k8s cluster\n• Debug pods using Java IDE\n• Observability using Istio\n• Migrate application from dev to prod environments\n• Deployment pipeline on desktop and in the cloud \nArun Gupta\nArun Gupta is a Principal Technologist at Amazon Web Services. He has extensive speaking experience in 45+ countries on myriad topics.
