De frustraties die Evan Czaplicki hierdoor kreeg deed hem de front end taal Elm ontwikkelen. Elm is een functionele taal\, waarin alles een type heeft. En het mooiste: runtime exceptions zijn verleden tijd! De krachtige compiler haalt alle fouten uit de code en geeft vervolgens een vriendelijke foutmelding.
