We work with a wait list\, the fist 40 people from ABN AMRO and the first 40 people from outside of the bank will be selected to join the event. \n# About the talks\n– Java 11 Is Here!\nJava 9\, 10\, and 11 are out. Java 9 has a lot in stock beyond the\nmodule system (yes\, I was surprised\, too)\, Java 10 comes with `var`\n(less typing\, but still strongly typed)\, and Java 11 promises pattern\nmatching and a reactive HTTP client. In this talk Nicolai Parlog will tell you all about … \n* new language features like pattern matching\, `var`\, and private\ninterface methods\n* new APIs like stack walking and the reactive HTTP client\n* the additions to existing APIs\, like `Stream` and `Optional`\n* other niceties like multi-release JARs and performance improvements \nAfter this talk you will be prepared to get started with Java 9\, 10\,\nand 11. \n– Babysteps in Serverless\nOne of our own talents at ABN AMRO will step on the stage. Patrick will walk us through the steps of experimenting with new technology. He does this by using an example POC he did on Serverless Computing. \n# About the speaker – Nicolai Parlog \nNicolai is a thirty year old boy\, as the narrator would put it (if he\nsquints)\, who has found his passion in software development.
